I love this game. I've played it ever since it came out.
My only nitpick to this very day though, is that the AK-47 is grossly overpowered. I'll try to explain.
The way the game is coded, the biggest reward comes from distance traveled. Because of on screen help objects and hitting the ground actually slowing you down in the long run, your safest bet is to stay airborn for as long as you possibly can. So the idea here is to pick the gun with the largest amount of ammo, so that you can stay in the air after your cannon blast for a majority of the round. The AK-47 without question takes that award, and it was only matched by the power of the golden gun. With the best bombs and upgrades, I was able to break the 1,000,000 feet mark with the AK, with plenty of ammo to spare. My best run, I came just short of hitting 2million. Now obviously once you get the golden gun, you're breaking 2-3million no sweat, but it does mean that once you get the AK-47, every gun and strategy besides the golden gun becomes largely worthless. Give it a shot if you don't believe me. Make sure you hit that cannon at full power, pop your missile as soon as you're falling, and then keep yourself in the air for as long as possible with single shots from the AK-47.
Besides that minor design problem, I still love this game. Great art style, campy fun colors, excellent sound effects. The choppy looping music gets a little annoying though. But really what can you expect from a 2009 flash game? I remember this being pretty much as good as it got when it came out, and I'd be right in maintaining that thought.
Very bare-bones. The enemy doesn't even have any A.I. past moving back and forth, so it's pretty inherently poor quality, even by pong standards.
